Club Information

Notes and Guidance

  •  Everybody involved with games activities MUST be a registered Club Member, including team mentors.
  •  Members should be aware of and comply with rules designated to protect our clubhouse and facilities.
  •  Children aged 7 or under attending the Academy should have a parent/guardian in attendance throughout the session. Members playing hurling/camogie must wear a helmet. They should own a helmet & hurley (other than academy members).
  •  Occasionally, team photographs will be taken and may be displayed on the club website / yearly calendar or other promotional medium.
  •  The intention of asking parents / players occupations is to understand if we can contact them in relation to their trade / skill should there ever be a requirement within the club. It is not a mandatory field to be filled out and there is no obligation inferred by doing so.

Data Protection

  • In compliance with the Data Protection Act, the Officers of the Executive Committee or members of the Club committees nominated by the Executive Committee will use the information provided on this form solely for the purposes of communicating with the membership of the Club and administrating it’s affairs. Some of the information may be provided to other units of GAA as required, in compliance with registration regulations. The information will not be provided to any third party without the consent of the member concerned.

Club Commitment

  • The Club operates on the basis of voluntary effort – this is most obvious in the case of team mentors. To help mentors, we ask juvenile members and their parents/guardians to make the commitments set out in the Club information pack provided.
