Club News 11th March 2020

CORK GAA DIVISION 1 SENIOR FOOTBALL LEAGUE:
Rangers made the long journey to Kiskeam on Wednesday last. After a slow start , Rangers came more into the game and at half time were trailing 0-03 to 1-03. An improved second half performance made for a very competitive 30 minutes and after a tight finish, the sides were level at the final whistle,  1-09 a piece.

REBEL OG WEST U16 DIVISION 2 FOOTBALL LEAGUE:
On Saturday,  our U16 footballers played Caheragh away in the league. As the game began, the heavens opened ,and combined with a strong wind ,it made playing difficult for both teams. Rangers put in a big effort in their first game of the season , full time score Carbery Rangers 2-06 Caheragh 2-12 with Olan Murphy and Conor Twomey getting the goals.

•Rebel Og Premier 2 Minor Football League,  Carbery Rangers V St Finbarr's Gaa, Saturday March 14th in Ardagh at 2pm. (Check locally for any change).

CORK GAA:

Hard luck to the Cork U20's who lost out to Kerry in The Munster Final on Wednesday last. A big achievement to reach the final, Carbery Rangers were well represented with Daragh Hayes on the panel, Maurice Moore Coach  and Denis Mc Sweeney in the backroom team. 
 
SCÓR:
Well done to both the Ballad and Novelty Act who are through to the County Final of Scór Na bPáistí in 2 weeks time . Both acts performed excellently in last Friday night's semi final in Ovens. Well done to both acts and their mentors.

There was no winner of this week's Lotto.
