CARBERY JUNIOR FOOTBALL  LEAGUE :
The juniors had a good start to their 2020 league with a comfortable win over Kilbrittain on Sunday, 3-10 to 0-10. Playing with the aid of a strong wind, Rangers had a big lead at half time 2-08 to 0-03 and worked hard playing into it in the second half.

REBEL OG PREMIER 2 MINOR FOOTBALL LEAGUE:  

The minors were away to St Michael's Gaa on Sunday afternoon in  their first  game of the year. At half time Rangers were trailing 0-03 to 1-02. However with four minutes left two goals from Evan Browne had Ross ahead 2-04 to 1-05. But St Michael's goaled and held on to win. Full Time Score,  Carbery Rangers 2-05 St Michael's 3-04. Araon O Brien,  Sean Hayes, Mike Maguire, Caolan Hayes, Sam Linehan,  Kelan Scannell,  Niall Keane 0-01,  Jack Kevane,  Barry Kerr 0-01, Darragh Calnan,  Peadar O Rourke,  Conor Twomey, Ciaran Santry, Evan Browne 2-03, Harry Oates . CORK GAA:
•Well done to Daragh Hayes,  Maurice Moore and Denis Mc Sweeney on their involvement with the Cork U20's in both the Munster Semi Final & Final .  In the semi final,  they travelled to Miltown Malbay in Clare where they fought a tough battle to overcome Clare and secure a place in The Munster Final against Kerry in Tralee on Wednesday. ( No result at time of printing).
•Well done to John O' Rourke and the Cork Senior Football Team who had their fifth win in this year's Division 3 National Football League,  over Derry on Sunday last in Páirc Uí Chaoimh . John played a big part in their win, scoring 2-02. Full Time Score,  Cork 3-13 Derry 3-11.
 
SCÓR NA BPAÍSTÍ:
Best of luck to both the Ballad Group and The Novelty Act from Ross Ladies Football Club who are representing both their club and the Carbery Division in the County Semi Final of Scór Na bPáistí this Friday night,  March 6th in Ovens at 7pm. 
 
MEDAL PRESENTATIONS / SCÓR & ROS SYNC:
On Friday last, medals were presented to Carbery Rangers U12s and our Junior 4 team for their merits in 2019, in The Celtic Ross Hotel. Following this ,a large crowd was treated to a showing of our Scór Na nÓg County Champions Novelty Act. This was followed by chat and a get together by both last year's and this year's Ros Sync participants while they watched a recording of this year's Ros Sync 2. A great evening was had by all.
