Minutes/Presentation of GAA Management Committee Meeting on: GAA's Survey - Playing Senior Inter-County Gaelic Games & Proposed New Playing Rules Proposals Please find attached a link to minutes/presentations of the meeting of the GAA's Management Committee which took place on 12th October outlining results of a survey carried out on Playing Senior Inter-County Gaelic Games also and New Playing Rules Proposals to the Clubs.
Newly Launched - GAA's Code of Behaviour (Underage) / Child Safeguarding Information Code of Behaviour (Underage) See below link to the newly launched Code of Behaviour (Underage), launched at last Saturday’s County Children’s Officers Child Safeguarding Info Seminar in Croke Park.
Other useful Child Safeguarding/Cyber Safety Documents provided at the seminar can be viewed/downloaded “Downloads” section of our club website.
MEATH GAA “ROYAL HOUSE DRAW” – TICKETS STILLL AVAILABLE AS 1st DRAW DEFERRED UNTIL 29th DECEMBER Tickets are €100 for One House Draw or €250 early bird for All Three Draws. Community Walking in Co. Meath - Leaders wanted: Meath Local Sports Partnership are looking to increase participation in sports and physical activity throughout county Meath. We are currently planning community walking programmes across the county for January 2019.
We want to link with your club to get your community out and walking. (Anyone interested in taking part in the training to become a walk leader, plesae contact club secretary Kathleen McDermott)
Go Games Halloween Party Last Saturday saw the completion of the Boys Go Games for 2018. Saturday evening saw our Go Games Boys & Girls join together for their Halloween Party, a great evening was had by all. A special word of thanks to all the volunteers who made it the success it was, decking out the hall, providing refreshments etc. Photos and videos can be viewed on our club Facebook Page.
Scór na nÓG 2019 The Meath County Scór na nÓG Final will take place in Oldcastle Show Hall on Friday 9th November at 7:30pm.
All are welcome regardless of whether your club are taking part this year or not.
Entries from your club are due into The Meath GAA Cultural Committee by Friday November 2nd.

Also Congratulations to two of our juvenile footballers Michael O'Shea & Evan Drum who were in action with North Kildare Rugby Club at half time of the Leinster v Munster PRO14 game in the Aviva last Saturday.
BEST OF LUCK TO KILTALE IN THE FINAL: A Massive Best of Luck to the Kiltale Hurlers in the SHC Final v Trim on Sunday. The reigning 4-in-a-row champions go in search of their 5th title in a row on Sunday, throw in at Pairc Tailteann is 3:30pm. Best of luck lads! Bring the Jubilee Cup back to Kiltale for another year!
