Official opening of clubhouse a great success. Great day in Woodside yesterday, sunshine & huge crowd. Thanks to GAA President, John Horan & Jim Bolger for doing the official opening.
Attendance of county players at clubhouse opening The club would like to say a special thanks to Carlow footballers, John Murphy, Paul Broderick and Robbie Molloy for coming along on the day and signing countless autographs and jerseys.
SFL Div 2: Clonmore 0-8 Eire Og 1-11 Clonmore squandered enough chances to have won this game comfortably. The game was nip and tuck throughout - at half-time we led by 0-5 to 0-4 and on 45 mins the YIs had moved 0-9 to 0-7 ahead. On 53 minutes Eire Og scored the clinching goal after Jordan Kane made a great save only for an EO forward to score from the re-bound. In the end, the accuracy and guile of EO''s former county players Eric McCormack & Chris Blake was the difference between the teams.
