Clonmore GFC Membership

Welcome to the official Lotto website of Clonmore GFC in Co. Carlow.  The Clonmore GFC Fundraising Lotto draws which run on a weekly basis play a huge part in the fund raising efforts of our GAA Club.

We encourage all of our ex members and community to play the Clonmore GFC fundraising lotto.  We also hope that we can all work together to promote this lotto and help get back in touch with people from Hacketstown & Clonmore, Carlow who may now be living all over the world.

To play, any four numbers are selected from 1 to 30. If anybody matches the four numbers selected on the night he/she wins or shares the Jackpot. Tickets cost €2 each.

Mick Furlong Memorial Tournament: Clonmore 3-9 Coolkenno 1-14
Clonmore won the inaugural Mick Furlong Trophy in an exciting game played in beautiful conditions at Aghowle on Saturday.

The Trophy was presented to captain Enda McGrath by Mick Furlong’s daughters Jackie Doran and Noeleen Lacey.

Well done to our neighbours, Coolkenno, for organizing a very enjoyable event and for raising €1,000 for the Clonmore Cancer Trust. A great day and a fitting tribute to a true Gael who played for both clubs and sadly passed away in January this year.

Minor 'A' FINAL: Clonmore 1-9 Fenagh 5-10
The Minors suffered a heartbreaking defeat in final today. After withstanding an onslaught from FN in the 1st half, we were happy to retire level on 0-5 apiece at HT. Brilliant shot-stopping by goalie Melvyn Kinch, wayward shooting by FN and accurate shooting by our forwards kept us in the game. On 43m we took the lead at 8 to 7. When FN broke through for 2 quick goals we responded with a great Keith Bowes goal 2-9 to 1-9 on 55m. But FN hit 3-1 in the last 5 to give them a flattering win.

MFC Round Robin: Clonmore 1-10 Fenagh 4-11
Having already qualified for the County final in NCP on 7 October, Clonmore couldn't match the hunger of the Fenagh lads who needed to win to qualify for the final.

After being down 2-7 to 0-6 at half-time, the lads fought back to 2-11 to 1-9 on 50 minutes but two late goals from Fenagh ended our comeback.
