Annual Bord Na nOg Presentation Event

The annual Bord Na nOg Presentation to the Mayo Gaels youngsters took place on Sunday February 5th 2017 in the Mayo Abbey Community Centre.

Special Guest of Honour on the day was 2016 All Ireland U21 Captain and Senior Mayo GAA team member, Stephen Coen.

Stephen spoke of the many achievements he has reached so far in his young career but stated that he is a long way from finished.  The young Gaels listened intently as he praised them for their enthusiasm and to keep applying themselves.  More success will come with continued good work but above all to enjoy their GAA.

Stephen then made presentations to;

The Minor team that won the 2016 South Mayo, Minor C Championship by beating The Neal in the final by 3-14 to 3-12.  The minors were managed by John Gallagher and Mally Byrne.

The U16 team that won the Mayo U16 B Championship on Sept 5th by beating Charlestown in the final by 4-21 to 3-08.  The U16's were managed by James Fallon, Aidan McDonagh and Tom Joyce.

The U13 team that won the South Mayo U13 Blitz in Garrymore.  The lads were managed by Declan McDonagh and Paul Quinn,

The U12 team that played in the Parish League.

The U10 team that played in the Parish League.

The U8 team that played in the Parish League.

The Bord Na nOg Committee of Alan Prendergast and Angelika Judge would like to thank Stephen for his presence and words on the day.  They also thank;
