The parish Of Kilcommon is situated 15 miles from Belmullet and 10 miles from Ceide fields.
Kilcommon community lotto was set up in 1994 to help raise funds for the Cill Chomáin GAA Club. A few years later the club joined up with the Kilcommon Parish Building Fund to raise money for all 5 churches in the area and all money raised is equally divided between both groups.
Lotto draw rotates to each public house every sunday night.
